Elizabeth Goggin

b. 1900, d. 1992

Elizabeth Goggin was the last of her family to own Brecknock Manor House, which had been in her family since 1767. She had no direct heirs, so in 1988, she decided to leave the house and surrounding 86 acres to Kent County to be used as a park for everyone to enjoy. Her will stated the county had to maintain the grounds and the house.
